PDFescape Editor is highly comprehensive as an editor program, whether online or on desktop. There’s a 14-day trial and two paid plans available-Premium and Ultimate-for the full editor package. However, the desktop version is still limited to creating PDFs, printing, and viewing. Plus, you can insert watermarks, headers, footers, and page numbers. You can do document merging or compress the file sizes. You can convert from PDF to MS Word’s format and others-and then print to PDF, as well. The limit of 10MB and 100 pages for the online version is lifted in the installable PDFescape Editor. The desktop version has more to offer, however. You can set up password protection on your files before sharing them online, too. The program can also create new PDF forms. PDFescape’s form-filling feature allows you to make edits onto the PDF file itself while it’s still a digital document so you don’t have to manually write on it anymore. The forms you get online tend to be in PDF form so no one can tamper with them-but this means that they’re usually supposed to be printed first so you can answer them. This editor app also allows you to fill out PDF forms. You can view PDF files, edit their content, and make annotations. PDFescape Editor for desktop has all the features that the online version has. PDFescape Editor is one of these but it also offers a web-based version that you can access even on mobile. Some are professional PDF editors that let you convert text documents into PDFs and vice-versa, too. You can find PDF editors for whatever platform you need. PDFs are not easily editable, however, you need specialized editors to bypass the encryption on them and make changes.
